Artist's Admission:
"I
am a closet surrealist. Left to my own devices, my art would get weirder
and weirder. I like to mess with your head-create space then twist it in
one way or another-juktapose things that do not normally go together. I
particularly enjoy doing mirror images or kalidescopic images of red rock scenes
(which look pretty wierd in their natural state). Done in a diptych or
other multiple image presentation, the various pieces can be moved around
relative to each other to create a whole different experience. Thus, the
resultant grouping is user-changeable. (I shouldn't be the only one having
fun creating with these images).
These surreal variations can be done in hugh
sizes which really ad impact. Further, these images can also
be done in different color combinations--the whole thing is totally
customizable.
