Mural sizes can also be significantly increased by dividing images into diptychs and triptychs (two or three parts). Due to the extremely high resolution of the giclee images, the crisp detail and vibrancy of the colors are preserved.

Giclée Notes

Most artists produce several paintings per year. Some produce as many as 50 paintings a year. I am not one of these artists. In a good year I may produce 4 to 6 oil paintings. This is particularly the case when I paint complicated western landscapes. This is because I take several weeks/months to do a single work. 200 to 500 hours with brush-in-hand are typical.
