"Hovering
Specter"
This
painting is actually the altered version of the
"Park
Avenue"
oil painting originally
completed in 2004. It is a scene from Arches National Park (north of
Moab, Utah). In the updated version, I have added the shadow of a
hawk, a rabbit and a deer to create a sense of moment and a bit of
"dramatic edge" to the work. I have also added considerable detail
to create the illusion of more space and visual texture in the
painting. This is a significant upgrade to the original "Park
Avenue" work which is still available as a limited edition
Giclée print (see
below). |
