On behalf of Artshow.com, I want to thank you for responding to our call to artists and submitting images of your work for consideration for the 2008 Art Kudos International Exhibition. Your participation is very much appreciated as it helps to ensure a diverse body of work from which selections can be made.

 

I am pleased to inform you that your work was selected for inclusion in the 2008 online exhibition. Narrowing selections from the incredible variety and quality of entries proved to be a daunting task. Originality and artistic quality were the main, but not the sole criteria, used to select the final works for the exhibition. Other factors, such as the clarity of the images provided and their ability to be viewed online, also contributed to our decision. Moreover, we tried to include a variety of media, subjects, and artistic styles. In the end, a total of 128 works of art were chosen for the exhibition.

 

We hope you will visit www.artkudos.com on August 15th to view the finalists and award winners. Countries represented in the show include: Australia, Canada, France, Greece, India, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, United Kingdom, United States, South Korea, and Vietnam.

 

The juror of awards this year is Pang-Chieh Hsu, a recipient of the prestigious Joan Mitchell Foundation Fellowship and an instructor at Armstrong Atlantic State University.

Dear R. Geoffrey Blackburn,

 

Thank you for submitting images of your work for the 2007 Art Kudos International Competition. I am pleased to inform you that your work titled "Two in the Bush" was selected for inclusion in the online exhibition.

 

Selections were made from nearly 1500 works of art submitted by 499 artists representing 33 countries. A total of 110 works of art were chosen for the exhibition. Countries represented include: Australia, Austria, Canada, Estonia, Germany, India, Israel, Mexico, Netherlands, Pakistan, United Kingdom, United States, and Vietnam.
